Scandinavian Design becomes a concept. Massproduction has been a success in all parts of production. Designers become important to increase produktion and sales.

The 50:s are characterized by natural and organic forms. Pieces of furniture like the ant,the swan, the egg, coconut and antheloop are classics and live on to our days. The pressed wood is further developed and is used diligently.

I have tried to create an insect, whom with it´s ease and firmness is ready to fly off into mid-air, with the pressed wood as it´s bearing wings. Arne Jacobsen, Eero Saarinen, Harry Bartoia, Charles och Ray Eames, George Nelson and Poul Kjaerholm belongs to the great figures in the foreground during the 50:s
