NK men’s footwear department.
The case was outlined as to redesign both the men’s footwear department as well as the luggage department. Our interior decoration proceeds from the core values of both Rizzo and NK. It’s a modern and innovative solution and it should attract a circle of customers aged from 18 years to 70 years. One of the key issues is to keep the older clientele and thus not to “alienate” the elder male customer who is urge purchasing the exclusive handmade footwear.
The boutique contains of three departments: trend, classic and luggage. By creating “a room in the room” that divides the premises, a natural boundary is achieved at the same time. With this interior the habitat is given a strong design identity. The lighting was important and we had a theatre stage in mind with its more dramatic and varied lighting when designing it.
The result was an imminent success. All the departments increased their sales and the biggest increase was to be found in the men’s footwear department. And most importantly, the boutique gained a lot of new customers.
